Career Coach & Mentor

Support for your executive assistant role is only a call away

1. First Conversation

Congratulations! You've made the decision to step up and take control of your career. As your career coach, our first conversation will be about getting to know each other and making sure we're the right fit.

Don't worry, it's not like an interrogation. It's just a chat where you'll have the opportunity to fire some questions at me.

2. Goal Setting

Now that we've decided to work together, it's time to talk about your short-term and long-term career goals.

We'll chat about what's important to you, why it's important and the direction you'd like to take your career. We'll also talk about what your goal is for your relationship with your boss: How it is currently, what's holding it back and how I can help you cement it.

3. Engagement

What makes my career coaching unique is that we go a little deeper by seeking stakeholder input. Understanding perspectives and gaining insights into what's expected of you from your boss and other people in your organisation helps ensure your outcomes and progress are aligned.

This feedback is gained from a 30-minute meeting with each stakeholder.

4. Knowing

This is where it all begins. Using the Knowing Assistant Framework, I'll help you understand yourself, your power skills, your boss, your job and your organisation. This knowledge is powerful and will help us decide on the actions you need to take to be seen as more than just an assistant.

5. Action

Now it's time to take action. We've mapped out your goals and the steps you need to take to get there.

After each session, you'll be given a Reflections and Reminders document that summarises our discussion, communicates agreed-upon actions and focus areas and provides further reading and self-directed learning resources.

6. Support

One-to-one executive assistant career coaching means I'm available when you need me.

I'll make myself available to you via text, email and phone, so if a situation arises that you need support and guidance on, you can count on me to have your back.

'What I know is that without developing your POWER skills you aren't capable of stepping up into that top quadrant and being truly respected and valued for the contribution you make.'
